terms of use

diyhrt.coffee watches a list of community-run shops and shows what they have in stock, what it costs, and whether anyone has published lab results for it. there's also a forum, alerts you can subscribe to, and a discord bot that posts restocks.

everything here is information about other people's shops. we don't stock anything, ship anything, take payment for anything, or act as an intermediary in any sale. links go to third-party sites we have no control over.

nothing on this site is medical advice, and nobody running it is your doctor. the calculator is a pharmacokinetic model, which means it is a rough estimate built from population averages, not a prediction about your body. lab results are published by vendors or community members and we can't independently confirm what was in the vial they actually sent you.

decisions about your own body are yours. please make them with bloodwork and, where you can safely get one, a prescriber.

verification chips, testing tiers and uptime figures describe what we could observe — whether a lab result exists, who commissioned it, when it was published, whether the site was reachable. they are not an endorsement, a guarantee of quality, or a promise that an order will arrive.

vendor reviews are written by other users. we moderate for abuse, not for accuracy. treat them the way you'd treat any stranger's opinion.

you need to be 18 or older to make an account. beyond that:

• don't harass, threaten, dox, or out anyone
• don't post anyone else's personal information, ever
• don't use the forum to buy, sell, or broker anything
• don't scrape, hammer, or try to break the site or its api
• don't impersonate staff, vendors, or other members
• don't post content that's illegal where the servers live (germany/finland)

accounts that break these can be suspended or removed. we'll usually say why, unless saying why would make things worse for somebody.

the bot posts restock alerts into channels you invite it to. it reads the messages it needs to respond to commands and nothing else, it doesn't log channel history, and it doesn't sell or share anything it sees.

if you connect discord to a diyhrt account, we store your discord user id and the access token discord gives us, so the bot can dm you and so you can pick which servers you get alerts in. you can disconnect at any time in settings, which deletes both.

server owners are responsible for what the bot posts in their server. removing the bot stops everything immediately.

your posts stay yours. by posting you give us permission to show them on the site, which is the whole point of a forum. you can delete your own posts, and deleting your account removes them.

encrypted messages are a special case: we can't read them, so we can't moderate them, recover them, or hand them over. if you lose your passphrase they are gone permanently, including for us.

this runs on one server paid for by one person. it will sometimes be down, sometimes be wrong, and sometimes lose things. it's provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or fitness for anything in particular.

to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for what happens if you rely on it. that clause exists in every terms document ever written, but here it's also just literally true: please don't make an irreversible decision about your health because a number on this page said something.

if these terms change in a way that actually affects you, it'll be announced on the site rather than quietly edited in. the date at the bottom is when this was last touched.
